Pistachio Iced Coffee Recipe | How to Make a Pistachio Iced Latte

Our quick and easy recipe for making a great pistachio iced latte at home with only three ingredients. Rich, nutty, creamy... this is our kind of iced brew.

How to Make a Pistachio Iced Coffee

This iced pistachio latte combines the sweet, nutty flavours of pistachios with all the rich flavours of our speciality-grade coffee and creamy milk. A lot of pistachio iced latte recipes use pistachio syrup, but we prefer pistachio cream for creating a more flavourful brew and a smoother texture.

This is a super easy, and really tasty, way to switch up your morning coffee routine, adding a little creamy sweetness to your daily caffeine kick without creating a sickly sweet drink that leaves you with a sugar crash.

Pistachio Iced Latte Ingredients

What You'll Need for One Serving

  • 2 Grind Compostable Coffee Pods or, if you're a brew it yourself person, around 80ml freshly brewed coffee using our Ground or Whole Bean Coffee. We'd recommend using our signature House Blend for this: the pistachio really complements its natural nutty notes.

  • Ice (would be extra cool if you used the Grind Ice Cube Tray)

  • 1 tbsp of pistachio cream (if you can’t find this then substitute with smooth pistachio butter, and if you can’t find that, then you can use 15ml pistachio syrup)

  • 250ml milk, or plant-based alternative

Pistachio Iced Latte Recipe

Our simple instructions for making this nutty, refreshing pistachio iced coffee at home.

  1. Prepare a double shot of coffee using our compostable, Nespresso® compatible coffee pods, or freshly brew 80ml of strong coffee using your preferred brewing method (ours is a French Press) with our coffee beans or ground coffee in your favourite blend. If you have time, leave to cool.
  2. Add a tablespoon of pistachio cream or smooth pistachio butter to the bottom of a large glass. Use a small spatula or spoon to spread the cream across the bottom and up the sides of your glass. This evenly spreads the pistachio cream and will also make your drink much prettier.
  3. Pour around 250ml (or to taste) of cold milk into the glass and mix well.
  4. Add ice, then pour over your cooled coffee.
  5. Give it all a good stir, and enjoy. If you’re feeling a bit extra, you can top with a little whipped cream, an extra swirl of pistachio cream, and a sprinkle of ground pistachios.

Can I Make This Pistachio Latte Hot?

Yes, very easily. If you want to make this iced pistachio latte a hot drink, you just need to warm up the milk—you can do this in a microwave or using a milk frother (we’d recommend ours, obviously). Then just follow the recipe’s instructions to combine the pistachio cream, milk, and espresso, minus the ice. This is great for getting a cosy caffeine fix when the weather gets.
