Part Two of the Grind x Green Day x Punk Bunny Limited Edition Collaboration

Celebrating 20 years of Green Day's groundbreaking American Idiot with a special edition collection featuring the album's original iconic artwork.

Meet the Grind x Green Day x Punk Bunny Collab

East Bay meets East London—here’s how this unlikely collaboration came to be:

While recording their latest LP Saviors in a London studio, international rock icons Green Day got in touch with their British influencers, from English punk to Britpop, fuelling their late nights with their favourite British coffee.

Turns out that's us: we’re their favourite British coffee. We thought that was quite cool (huge understatement), so we teamed up with the band and their recently launched coffee brand, Punk Bunny, to make a green drink in honour of their 2024 tour and the 20 and 30 year anniversaries of American Idiot and Dookie respectively. And so the collaborative Iced Matcha Latte can was born.

And you guys went crazy for it. Green Day fans have clearly realised how rock and roll matcha is, because the can sold out in under eight hours. Obviously, the collaboration couldn't stop there...

What's New in Phase Two?

We're celebrating 20 years of the band's groundbreaking American Idiot with a new limited edition Grind x Green Day's Punk Bunny Tin that features the album's original artwork.

The Grind x Green Day's Punk Bunny Tin puts Idiot’s iconic cover in the spotlight, and can be paired with our home-compostable, Nespresso® compatible coffee pods, ground coffee, or whole bean coffee in your selected blend—we have a lot of blends so you can find the one that best suits how you take your coffee. Because sustainable, speciality coffee is very rock and roll.

Who Are Punk Bunny Roasters?

Green Day's new coffee brand launched in 2024, founded on the same principles that we value at Grind: sustainability, community, and really good coffee. A portion of every Punk Bunny purchase goes to charities, and their coffee is carefully and responsibly sourced. Long story short: this is a partnership between two brands who really like coffee, really like the planet, and really like people.
