Covent Garden Grind has arrived at 42 Maiden Lane, Covent Garden. With Soho Grind and Holborn Grind so close, we've been whispering about opening in Covent Garden for years now - we waited forever for the perfect spot, and we think we've found it. Built in 1873, the building is almost as old as London Grind - it’s French Gothic in style, and a beautiful, imposing presence on the street.
We've tried some new things with the food too, and while it wouldn't be the Grind without smashed avocado on toast, we'd definitely recommend the kaniwa-rolled eggs with pickled asparagus. Keep up with the new additions on Instagram at @CoventGardenGrind
To celebrate the opening in traditional Grind style, Covent Garden Grind will be serving coffee absolutely free from 8am - 12 midday tomorrow, Friday March 18th.
