Mocha Iced Coffee Recipe
Two of life's greatest pleasures, combined. Give your iced coffee a creamy, chocolatey kick. You deserve it.
How to Make a Mocha Iced Coffee
Sometimes, you want some chocolate with your caffeine. That’s why the mocha was born. Other times, you want chocolate with your caffeine but you want your caffeine iced. That’s why the mocha iced coffee was born.
Combining creamy chocolatey goodness with a caffeine kick, this is, in many ways, an adult chocolate milkshake. Our easy mocha iced coffee recipe means you can make your caffeinated chocolate milk in minutes and enjoy it in peace.
To make things a whole lot easier, we also have our very own chocolate coffee pods, which combine our signature speciality House Blend with the smooth, creamy sweetness of chocolate. All you have to do is brew two of them, add some cold milk, pour over ice.
Mocha Iced Coffee Ingredients
What You’ll Need:
- 2 Grind Coffee Pods (preferably our Mocha Coffee Pods)
- Ice (would be extra cool if you used the Grind Ice Cube Tray)
- 125ml milk or plant-based milk alternative
- 2 tbsp chocolate sauce or chocolate syrup (reduce to ½ tbsp if using mocha pods)
- 30ml whipped cream (optional)
- Pinch of cocoa powder (optional)

Step 1
Fill your glass with ice cubes. If you don’t want to dilute your coffee too much and want an extra caffeine boost, pre-fill your ice tray with brewed coffee.
Step 2
In a separate glass or mug, make a double shot of coffee using your Grind coffee pods in your favourite blend.
Step 3
Stir 2-3 tbsp of chocolate sauce into your freshly brewed espresso.
Step 4
Gently pour the coffee into the glass, on top of your ice cubes.
Step 5
Add around 125ml (or to taste) of cold milk to your glass, and give it a good stir. Add more ice if necessary.
Step 6
If you’re feeling a bit extra (and you should be), finish with a dollop of whipped cream and a dusting of cocoa powder.
How Many Calories in a Mocha Iced Coffee?
The calories in your iced mocha will vary depending on what kind of milk and which chocolate sauce you use. A standard mocha will have around 200 calories, but toppings like whipped cream or more chocolate syrup will increase this to around 250-300 calories. If you’re looking for a lower calorie option, try using sugar-free chocolate syrup or skimmed milk.
