Cult London coffee and restaurant brand Grind is set to open in London Bridge Station in 2018. Founded in Shoreditch in 2011, over the years the brand has gone from strength to strength with its inimitable mix of music, design, coffee, food and cocktails.

Crowdfunding over £2m in under a week in 2017, the brand - which operates a coffee roastery as well as a recording studio from it’s Shoreditch home in - promised to make the move into travel locations in 2018, and this new opening marks both the fulfilment of that promise - and the first of a number of anticipated announcements this year.

For the interior, Grind will continue their partnership with Melbourne-based architects Biasol following a slew of international design awards for Clerkenwell Grind in 2017, including Best Restaurant at the Restaurant and Bar Design Awards.

Housed in the enormous vaulted arches of the old London Bridge Station, painstakingly excavated having been sealed from the outside world for almost 150 years, Grind and Biasol promise to bring their pedigree in the city’s listed buildings to deliver a coffee destination in yet another extraordinary London setting.

Founder and CEO David Abrahamovitch commented - “It's been over three years since we opened our doors just around the corner at London Grind, at 2 London Bridge, and we've been made London Bridge and Borough Market our home through times good and bad. We love every little bit of the neighbourhood in SE1, so we're doubling up, and doubling down and are incredibly excited to open our first store with our travel partners, SSP.”
