Grind x Biasol: Winning Gold at Melbourne Design Awards
Greenwich Grind is awarded the GOLD Winner for the 2019 Melbourne Design Awards Interior Design.
It was a pleasure to continue our partnership with Melbourne-based architects Biasol on the design of Greenwich Grind and we're very excited to have been awarded the GOLD Winner for the 2019 Melbourne Design Awards Interior Design – International Hospitality category.
Being over six-thousand square feet in size, designing a space to suit all occasions was always going to be a challenge at Greenwich Grind.
The all-day restaurant features a cocktail bar and lounge to the front of the listed building, alongside a dedicated, grab-and-go café for takeaway coffee and food. To the rear is the main event - a 160 cover indoor-outdoor dining room and garden set in the rear conservatory, flooded with natural light and transformed into a greenhouse-like oasis of tropical plants.
