David and Kaz started Grind & Co. in 2011, wanting somewhere to hang out when they weren't working - or even when they were - and could get a proper cup of coffee like in Melbourne, Kaz's home town. Grind now has 7 sites across central and east London, each smashing out coffee, cocktails and food day to night, and we are soon opening our own roastery and training lab in Shoreditch. 

Holborn Grind opened in October 2014 and has since established itself as the cocktail and coffee hub of Holborn. Holborn Grind was a big step up for the Grind, and features an enormous bespoke system of shelves wrought from reclaimed brass, and inspired by a vintage London cocktail trolley - all suspended from the ceiling. 

As the chef we expect you to be a foodie, have a great eye for detail and presentation and to be skilled in multi-tasking and working well under pressure. In return you get creative input and a real say in the food you produce on site, working closely with our Head Chef and Ops Director to keep things fresh and bring inspiring new dishes to the site.
